Hi, I’m Meggan. I’m a storyteller, brand strategist, customer experience advocate and someone who genuinely believes every business has a story worth telling.

Before launching Be U Now, I spent 15+ years in the luxury/ upscale hotel industry, where I discovered that exceptional customer experiences are rarely accidental. They’re created by people who care, businesses with purpose, and leaders who empower their teams to simply be themselves. That philosophy has stayed with me throughout my career. Today, I work alongside businesses to build authentic brands, create meaningful customer experiences and develop strategies that connect with people on a human level.

I’m passionate about hospitality, tourism, regional communities and helping businesses become unforgettable, not by trying to be like everyone else, but by embracing what makes them different.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me chasing sunrises, exploring new places with my family, supporting local businesses or searching for the next great adventure. Because I believe the best stories aren’t just told. They're lived!

Every now and then, I think we all need to come back to the beginning! Why did you start your business? What did you want it to give you? What did you want it to create and what did you want people to feel! I know I’ve had to ask myself those questions more than once. For me. I started @beunow_branding because I wanted to use my skills, connect with people, create something meaningful and build a business that worked with the life I wanted to live whilst helping my people that align with my values! Your why has a funny way of making everything else flow. Your brand. Your voice. Your content. The way you show up. The people you attract and the tables you sit at! Your why becomes the thread running through it all. And that’s where we come in as marketing and branding professionals. You don’t need to have all the right words. That’s our job ☺️ Our job is to listen, understand what makes you tick, find the story behind the business and turn that into a brand people can see, hear and connect with. A privilege being able to follow along and experience a little piece of their incredible six-day journey. There’s something pretty humbling about watching these teams take on thousands of kilometres, raising money and awareness for @varietynsw_act , while creating memories and friendships along the way. And one of my favourite moments? Catching the Palmers Kenworths crew as they flew past the Nexus Industrial Area here in @alburywodongasurrounds 🚛💗 It was incredibly humbling to witness the generosity, community and spirit behind the event. And a great reminder of why I love what I do, helping businesses tell their stories, connect with their communities and bring their experiences to life. I’ve been chasing sunrises for years. Five continents so far, and countless mornings watching the world wake up somewhere new and some of the most beautiful and memorable have been right here in Australia. 🌅 The past three mornings… 📍 Elizabeth Beach, Booti Booti National Park, NSW 📍 Black Head Beach, NSW 📍 North Brother Lookout, Dooragan National Park NSW The older I get, the more I crave connection. With nature. With people. With places. With experiences. How can you truly understand what makes something memorable if you’re not out there experiencing life yourself? How can you create meaningful experiences for people if you don’t take the time to experience them yourself? I am seeing the world. I am staying in incredible places. Meeting interesting people with incredible stories. Feeling the magic of a place. And I bring all of that into the work I do. I help businesses create experiences that connect, resonate and become memorable. Because the more I experience, the more I understand people. And the more I understand people, the better I can help businesses shine. That’s the work I love. Connecting with people, places and experiences, and helping businesses tell their stories in a way that makes people feel something. So here’s to more nature. More travel. More people. It’s about knowing when something no longer fits. Recently, I trusted my gut. I made a business decision that wasn’t necessarily easy, but deep down, I knew it was the right one. And then the inevitable happened… A new door opened. 🚪✨ It reminded me that you can be incredibly grateful for where you’ve been and still be ready for what’s next. Walking away doesn’t erase the value of what came before. Every experience. Every client. Every opportunity. Every chapter. It all teaches us something. But…sometimes, we simply grow. Our vision changes. Our priorities shift. And that little voice inside starts telling us it’s time for something different.
