Hi, I’m Meggan. I’m a storyteller, brand strategist, customer experience advocate and someone who genuinely believes every business has a story worth telling.

Before launching Be U Now, I spent 15+ years in the luxury/ upscale hotel industry, where I discovered that exceptional customer experiences are rarely accidental. They’re created by people who care, businesses with purpose, and leaders who empower their teams to simply be themselves. That philosophy has stayed with me throughout my career. Today, I work alongside businesses to build authentic brands, create meaningful customer experiences and develop strategies that connect with people on a human level.

I’m passionate about hospitality, tourism, regional communities and helping businesses become unforgettable, not by trying to be like everyone else, but by embracing what makes them different.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me chasing sunrises, exploring new places with my family, supporting local businesses or searching for the next great adventure. Because I believe the best stories aren’t just told. They're lived!

And if you haven’t figured it out already, I LOVE getting dressed up just as much as I love pulling on my hiking boots and getting out into nature. 😂🤍 Give me a mountain to climb, somewhere new to explore and a view that makes you stop in your tracks. I’m there! 📍 The Horn Lookout Mt Buffalo National Park, VIC (And Victoria’s first ever National Park, established 1898) …And that moment we reached the top? WOW. Just WOW. Rising costs, changing consumer behaviour, increased competition, new technology and constantly evolving digital platforms all add another layer to running a business! So what I think is valuable right now… go back to your why! Why did I start this business in the first place? What did I want it to give me? What did I want to create? And perhaps most importantly, what did I want my life to look like because of it? For me, building Be U Now Branding has always been about adding value to others’ lives whilst being at home during our girls’ formative years, doing work I genuinely enjoy (hello creative outlet!), having flexibility around my family and creating a business that fits the life I want to live. Travel, travel, travel! ✈️ There’s no better time to get clarity around your direction and your why. When you have that clarity, it becomes much easier to decide where to focus your time, energy and resources, particularly when business gets tough! And how lucky am I to have been there supporting Bronwyn who keeps growing. She strives for excellence, pushing herself, challenging the norm and, perhaps most importantly, encouraging the people around her to do the same. Watching her build the @alburywodongaweddingexpo into what it is today, & @bella.debutante and then seeing her recognised as a finalist on a national stage, was pretty special! Better yet, celebrating another incredible human from our region @smileymorks (Amanda Ward) for all she’s achieved with @sleepclinicsawc You both are inspirational 👊🏼 The night was filled with stories of women who are backing themselves, building businesses, overcoming setbacks and creating something meaningful for the next generation. It was inspiring. It was emotional. It was a bloody good reminder to get out there, experience more, surround yourself with incredible people and dream a little bigger. And what a night they had! 🏆 🥇 Spec Home of the Year 🥇 Project Home of the Year 🏅 Special Commendation for a home Shane designed, achieving an incredible 8.1 energy star rating! One thing really stood out to me… Culture is everything. You can see it. You can feel it. What John and Blaise have created within Southern Vale is something pretty special. Great companies are built on great people, and by gosh, this is a great bunch of people. ❤️ The building industry right now? The challenges are REAL. But looking around that room at the resilience, creativity and passion was seriously inspiring. Massive congratulations to all the finalists and winners. 👏🏼 And yes… you’ve absolutely inspired me for our next home. 🤣 That laundry. That kitchen. I’m taking notes! 😂🏡 📸 @melhobbs
